44 Energy is proud to announce that we have been awarded a contract from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) under RFP No. 21MSC002 for “Off-Road Emission Control Technology Cost Study – Diesel Engines”. With this study, 44 Energy will incorporate input from key stakeholders to perform a full cost analysis for emission control technologies to achieve oxides of nitrogen (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and carbon dioxide exhaust emission rates significantly lower than current off-road diesel engines meeting the Tier 4 final standards. 44 Energy believes the study can be used to help inform CARB’s potential rulemaking proposals related to new Tier 5 standards for off-road diesel engines.
